                                          Call for Papers
                                                   Submission Deadline: June 30, 2013, 24:00 EST

The 2013 Chinese Conference of Complex Networks (CCCN'2013) is the 9th annual national
conference in the series, and will be held in Hangzhou Normal University,Hangzhou City,China
on September 13-15, 2013. The 6th NESS EU-China Summer School is also combined in the
conference this year . The aim of the conference is to provide a forum for Chinese researchers
working on theory and applications of complex networks to present and exchange their new
ideas and latest research results . The conference consists of plenary talks , panel discussions ,
invited sessions, pre-conference workshops, oral sessions and poster sessions etc. for academic
The conference seeks original research papers in all areas of complex networks theory. We also
encourage contributions from all other areas of physics , computer science , mathematics
motivated by topics in complexity theory.Accepted papers must contain significant novel results.
Results can be either theoretical or empirical. Results will be judged on the degree to which they
have been objectively established and/or their potential for scientific and technological impact.
Part of accepted papers(in English) will be published in International Journal of Modern
Physics C (IJMPC) , which is cited by SCI . And part of accepted papers ( English and
Chinese are both OK) will be published in the Proceeding of CCCN’2013 , which will be
published by Science Press. By convention , abstracts of papers are also welcome(only be
published in internal proceeding not in the journals mentioned above).

CCCN'2013 covers both theory and applications in all areas of Complex Networks . Possible
topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

               *Complex network modeling and characterization
*Traffic routing and epidemic spreading over complex networks
*Dynamical evolution, pattern formation and data search over complex networks
               *Wireless communication and sensor networks
*Information and communication processes over complex networks
*Traffic routing and epidemic spreading over complex networks
               *Biological networks and systems biology
*Statistical physics methods for complex network research
               *Economic, financial and social networks
               *Multi-agent systems and stabilization
               *Next-generation Internet and WWW
*Complex network analysis, synchronization and control
               *Flocking, swarming, and consensus
               *Human dynamics over complex networks
               *Complex systems and complex networks
*Various applications of complex network theory and models

Paper Format and Electronic Submission:
The submission of papers and the management of the paper reviewing process for the main
conference will be entirely electronic . The submission system as well as detailed submission
instructions for authors will be available around mid-March 2013 on the conference web site.
Deadlines: Papers must be submitted electronically, and received by June 30,2013,24:00 EST.
Notification of acceptance will be sent by July 31th , 2013 and final camera-ready copies of
accepted papers will be due around mid-September 2013.

Format: LaTeX and MS Word templates are available below . We strongly recommend the
authors to use these templates . If you choose not to use them , please make sure your paper
strictly follows the formatting instructions . If you use the older versions of these templates ,
please click here to download the latest versions. If your paper is written in MS Word 2007 or
greater , please use MS Word 2003 compatible format.

Simultaneous submission policy : Material which has been previously published in a journal
or other conference proceedings,or which is scheduled for publication prior to September 2013,
will NOT be considered for acceptance.Simultaneous submission of the same or essentially the
same material to another conference with published proceedings is NOT allowed . Similarly,
authors must withdraw their papers if they submit an overlapping paper to a different archival
venue during the CCCN’2013 review period. If a paper submitted to CCCN’2013 is found to
significantly overlap another published or submitted paper at another archival venue then the
CCCN submission may be rejected on the grounds of being a dual submission.
Confidentiality: All submissions will be treated as confidential, and will only be disclosed to the
committee and their chosen sub-referees.
